Details have been revealed for the residential development at 2434 West Bryn Mawr Avenue on the southern edge of West Ridge. located on the northwest corner of North Artesian Avenue, the project would replace a large parking lot near Rosehill Cemetery. The effort is being led by Chicago F9 Equity Partners under the name Bryn Mawr Commons LLC.
Plans have been revealed and approved by the Chicago City Council for the residential redevelopment of the former Peoples Gas site at 6659 North Kedzie Avenue in West Ridge. Located on the western edge of the neighborhood along the North Shore Channel, the large L-shaped site currently contains a pair of vacant brick buildings and parking lots.
A renovation permit was issued by the City of Chicago on June 16 to add two more dwelling units to a recently completed residential building in West Ridge. 5824 North Lincoln Avenue was permitted for construction back on March 15, 2021, and completed early in 2023. Developer and general contractor Panoptic Group filed for the renovation permit in January, and it was issued with a reported cost of $180,000. Real estate records show the apartment development sold in April for $3.6 million.
The City of Chicago has permitted construction of a four-story, four-unit residence at 2314 West Arthur Avenue in West Ridge. The permit was issued on May 13 following its application on January 28 of this year, and comes with a reported construction cost of $1.1 million. Site Pros Inc is named as the property owner, and SItePro Services is cited as the general contractor.
A new construction permit has been issued for the upcoming residential development at 2709 W Touhy Avenue in West Ridge. Located on the corner with N Washtenaw Avenue, the new structure will be replacing a vacant lot that held a one-story commercial building until recently. Efforts for the project are being led by Stak Prime LLC.
