Construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at 4854 N Damen Avenue, located in Ravenswood. The owner, filed under PFH Homes, is planning three total units. Additional components include a basement and a three-car garage with a rooftop deck.
This past January, the City Council passed of a key ordinance that would permit a 43-story tower at 906 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Presented documents from the City Council hearing show a height of 495 feet, ranking the building at number 15 in Chicago YIMBY’s countdown of tallest new developments.

The newly approved 35-story residential tower at 40 W Oak Street takes the 16th spot in YIMBY’s Chicago’s tallest development countdown. The 466-foot-tall tower will rise at the northwest corner of the intersection of N Dearborn Street and W Oak Street in Rush & Division. The project site includes the existing Warren-Barr pavilion. The rehabilitative care center will remain on its site, with 50 parking spaces in the tower set aside specifically for visitors of the facility. Developer Nahla Capital is in charge of the project.
