The project’s owner is filed under 3243 North Lakewood LLC, with plans for two total units, a basement, and a two-car garage with a rooftop deck. The new structure is set to replace a three-floor frame residential building, for which YIMBY reported demolition permits early last month.

With 646 W Webster LLC as the listed owner, plans call for three total units, a first-floor private rear deck, a third-floor front-facing private balcony, and a private rooftop deck. The site was previously a two-floor masonry residential building.

Bentham Condominiums Undergo Final Facade Work in River North

Remaining facade pieces are undergoing installation at The Bentham, a 14-story retail and condominium building that is now wrapping up at 146 W Erie Street in River North. Sedgwick Development is acting as the developer, architect, and general contractor for the project, which will provide 2,556 square feet of retail and 31 condominiums. Beginning at just over $1 million, each condominium will house three bedrooms and three bathrooms, and will come with open floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, private elevator access, and private balconies.

Construction permits have been issued for a new four-story residential building at 1423 W Huron Street in West Town. The owner is listed as Wentworth 50 LLC, whose plans will include a four-bedroom duplex basement and ground-level unit, a two-bedroom single-floor unit above, and a three-bedroom duplex at the top. This second duplex will house the majority of the living space on its first level, while the second level will be occupied by two private rooftop deck areas, between which is small penthouse enclosure containing the duplex’s third bedroom and bath. The project will also come with a detached three-car garage in the rear.

1454 W Randolph Street Closing in on Completion in West Loop

With structural work now topped out, construction is nearing completion for an 11-story apartment building at West Loop‘s 1454 W Randolph Street. Planned by Marquette Properties, the new 135-foot-tall development will house 242 apartments, 87 parking spaces, 135 bike spaces, as well as a large lobby area, and range of amenities.

Construction Commences on Three-Story Daycare at 2745 N Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Park

Full construction permits have now been issued for a three-story daycare center, situated at 2745 N Lincoln Avenue at the northern edge of Lincoln Park. Kensington Lincoln Park Building LLC is the filing owner, whose new construction will replace three former masonry buildings. YIMBY had previously reported on the project in December when foundation permits were issued.
