Building Permits Issued For Wellness Center In Humboldt Park

Initial building permits have been issued for the new wellness center at 2933 W Division Street in Humboldt Park. Located on the southwest corner with N Richmond Street, the project was proposed early last year and moved its way through the Plan Commission and City Council prior to securing the current foundation permits. Developer Humboldt Park Health will replace an empty lot and a single two-flat building with a new angular structure designed by local architecture firm JGMA.

Warehouse Proposed for 328 W 40th Place in Fuller Park

A 180,900-square-foot warehouse has been proposed for 328 W 40th Place in Fuller Park, just several blocks south of Guaranteed Rate Field. The project site is being developed by The Missner Group and will replace a currently vacant lot. Designed by Ware Malcomb, the facade will have a colorful facade for an industrial building, with patterns of blue precast concrete wrapping around the rectangular structure. While a tenant has not yet been announced, the interior will be able to accommodate light manufacturing, food packaging, or distribution. As for on-site transportation infrastructure, there will be 35 loading docks and parking for 176 vehicles.

Plans Revealed For Slim Residential Proposal In Lakeview

Initial plans have been revealed for the residential development at 3925 N Clarendon Avenue in Lakeview. Revealed via Alderman Cappleman’s website, the proposal looks to replace a slim and long empty lot just south of the intersection with W Irving Park Road in between two existing residential structures. Local developer George Bahramis is working with Jonathan Splitt Architects on the 33-foot-wide design, leaving one additional similarly-sized parking lot left on the block to be redeveloped.

Plan Commission Approved Team Pioneros In Humboldt Park

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 4000 W North Avenue in Humboldt Park. Dubbed Team Pioneros, the project will restore the existing Pioneer Bank building on the corner with N Pulaski Road and construct a new structure behind it. The colorful proposal is also a winner of the city’s Invest South/West initiative and is being led by Park Row Development as well as local architecture firm JGMA, who will eventually call the property home when the firm moves its current offices.
