Construction permits have been issued for a two-story office building located at 8204 W Belmont Avenue in Dunning. Owned by 8200 Belmont LLC, the development will include office space on both floors, as well as five outdoor parking spaces. The new construction is set to occupy a currently vacant plot of land. Given that this plot is divided into two separate parcels, it is unclear if the building will replace the full plot or just a portion.
With the construction hoist now disassembled, final exterior work is wrapping up at Tandem Partners‘ Avra West Loop, located at 1125 W Van Buren Street. The 20-story mixed-use building will yield 198 apartments atop ground-level retail.

Drake 1934 LLC is the listed owner, who plans four total units, a basement, a rooftop deck and stair enclosures, a wood trellis, and front and rear decks along all three floors. A car port for four vehicles will also be included.
Construction has reached the 12th floor for a 26-story mixed-use tower at 1400 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Developed by Marquette Companies, the project will replace a former restaurant, 11-story brick building, and parking lot. The new building’s plans comprise of 278 units atop ground-level retail. Residents will find various amenities including an outdoor pool and deck atop the 18th floor, a fitness center, and a dog park.
Full construction permits have been issued for a two-story residential building planned for 4853 W Nelson Street in Belmont Cragin. Owned by John Hanches, the project will comprise of two total units, a three-car concrete parking pad, and a finished basement that will house a second floor for the bottom unit. The new construction will replace a currently vacant grass lot.
