The 42-unit apartment building being constructed at 5151 North Lincoln Avenue in Lincoln Square has topped out at its full five-story height. The Hanna Architects design includes retail space and a twenty-car garage on the ground floor, with the residences occupying the upper four stories. Foster and Lincoln LLC is named in the construction permit, issued back in 2022, as the developer, with DOM Properties as general contractor.
The Chicago City Council has approved the large-scale mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park. Sitting near the six-corner intersection with W Irving Park Road, the project will replace a large vacant plot which was previously a Peoples Gas facility. Now developer GW Properties can move forward with the multi-structure proposal.
Construction progress is nearly complete for three new residential units within a three-story building at 2019 South Throop Street in Pilsen. The City of Chicago issued a permit for the development on January 16 of this year. It replaces a long-vacant lot that sold in 2023 for $230,000, according to Redfin. A Chicago-based LLC is building the residences.
The Chicago City Council has approved the mixed-use development at 1565 N Clybourn Avenue in the Near North Side. Sitting on the corner with N Halsted Street in the quickly changing area, the project will replace an existing two-story bank within a larger complex owned by developer The Georgetown Company.
A three-story, three-unit condominium building at 3511 North Bosworth Avenue has reached full height in the Lake View neighborhood. Being built by Bachula Development, the homes will include two duplex condos and a penthouse unit, the sale of which has already been marked as contingent. Each residence will have access to private outdoor space via a terrace or roof deck. A detached garage at the rear of the property will house four parking spaces; two are for the penthouse condo, with one each appropriated for the duplexes. It will also have a rooftop deck. 360 Design Studio is responsible for the architecture.
