Brick Façade Now The Focus Of Topped-Out 519 West Fullerton At Fullerton Pointe

The first phase of Fullerton Pointe has topped out and is getting its brick on at 519 West Fullerton Parkway in Lincoln Park. Scaffolding and wrap shroud the front façade in mystery as masonry work is applied, but you can catch a glimpse of what it will look like on the building’s east wall. At the rear of the property, masonry work is ongoing to form the garage, which will contain eight parking stalls and will be topped by a roof deck.

3839 North Clark Street addition construction update

The four-story addition to the residential building at 3839 North Clark Street in the Wrigleyville neighborhood of Lake View has already climbed to its top story. That marks significant progress since the last visit to the site, which saw the concrete basement in place. The addition adds six more dwelling units to the five-story apartment development Mangan Builders constructed next door.

The condominium development at 405 West Armitage Avenue in Old Town has topped out at the triangle intersection of Armitage, Lincoln Avenue, and Sedgwick Street. Barrett Homes, as general contractor and developer, is behind the construction project, which will deliver six dwelling units to the Lincoln Park Community Area.

A three-story three-flat has been permitted for construction at 4331 South Indiana Avenue in the Bronzeville neighborhood. Applied for on March 18th, the permit came through on May 23rd with Landex Holding Company named as the developer. The reported construction cost with this permit is $420,000.

A pair of permits were issued to begin construction of two three-flats on the 500 block of North Lawndale Avenue in the Humboldt Park neighborhood. Permits for 530 and 538 North Lawndale came through on May 30, though their applications were filed two weeks apart in mid-April/early May. USA Roofing Supply Inc, registered to a North Avenue address, is named as the developer and general contractor, with a reported cost of $665,000 showing for each building.

2351-2355 West Flournoy Street construction progress

Construction Progresses On Twin Flournoy Street Residential Buildings In Tri-Taylor

A pair of low-rise residential buildings are progressing at 2351 and 2355 West Flournoy Street in the Near West Side’s Tri-Taylor neighborhood. Though they were permitted separately, the two buildings have identical specifications as four-story plus basement structures with eight dwelling units apiece. 2351 West Flournoy was permitted first, on January 13th, with 2355 West Flournoy following nine weeks later on March 19. Both applications were filed back in 2022.

The concrete basement is in place for a three-story plus basement, four-unit residential building at 1306 West Winona Street in the Uptown neighborhood. A permit was issued to begin construction on April 29. Two days later, a demolition permit was issued to tear down an existing residence on the property that dated back to the mid-1890s. An entity of 1306 Winona Corp, registered to this address, made the purchase and is named in the construction permit as the developer.

It’s a renovation/alteration permit, but a permit nonetheless has been issued to build a three-story, three-unit residence at 3111 West Polk Street in East Garfield Park. The permit was applied for on April 23 by property owner Oscar Renteria, and was issued on May 28. It comes with a reported construction cost of $300,000.

Framing Has Begun For Cambridge Avenue Townhomes On Cenacle Site In Lincoln Park

Framing work has begun for the first row of townhomes on Cambridge Avenue in Lincoln Park, site of the former Cenacle Retreat & Conference Center. Addressed as 2329 North Cambridge Avenue, the row of homes extends off a C-shaped portion of the street connected to Belden Avenue, a portion that could be mistaken for an alley. The first set of eight townhomes was permitted on April 2nd, two days before the permit for 2333 North Cambridge came through.
