Structural work has reached the third floor of 1039-41 W Belmont Avenue, a four-story mixed-use building currently underway in Lake View. Cumin Restaurant is the occupying owner, filed under the name Kathmandu Properties in the original construction permit. The new structure will replace a former two-story masonry building that received demolition permits in May 2019.
Renovation permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 2215 W Chicago Avenue in West Town. MVRS Properties is the filing owner, whose plans include a rehab of the existing 12-unit structure, the reconstruction of the rear porch, and the construction of a six-car concrete parking pad.
Construction has topped out for 609 W Randolph Street, a 15-story mixed-use development near the heart of West Loop Gate. Planned by Vista Property Group and spanning over 100,000 feet, the 211-foot-tall tower is set to house 1,770 square feet of ground-level retail and office use on the remaining 14 floors. The base of the project will also restore and integrate a late 19th-century masonry building, while the new construction will replace a former parking lot.
Renderings have been revealed for a proposed mixed-use development at 4715 N Western Avenue in Lincoln Square. Located at the intersection of W Leland Avenue and N Western Avenue, the site is a city-owned public parking lot on the northeastern corner of the intersection. The Community Builders is the developer behind the concept.

With McBrearty Construction Company as the listed owner, plans consist of three total units, a basement, a private rooftop deck, and a detached three-car garage with an additional rooftop deck. The project is set to replace a formerly vacant grass parcel.
