Now topped out, the 60,000-square-foot building received a foundation permit from the City of Chicago on March 3 of 2023, followed by the full building permit on May 26, 2023.

The property, under development by North Park Ventures, will be developed into a five-story structure providing both retail and residential spaces. The scope envisions 60,000 square feet of space, accommodating 64 residential units and 35 parking spaces.
Updated renderings have been revealed for the residential building at 6044 N Winthrop Avenue in Edgewater. Located just south of the intersection with W Glenlake Avenue, the project will replace a surface parking lot just east of the CTA tracks that run over its rear alley. Developer North Park Ventures is behind the upcoming building designed by local firm Kennedy Mann.
