For public transportation, residents wishing to access the east and westbound Route 63 will find nearest stops at the 63rd Street & St. Lawrence intersection via a two-minute walk south. Also nearby is the 61st Street & St. Lawrence intersection via a four-minute walk north for Routes 4 and 59. Lastly, residents will find Routes 3 and 4 slightly further to the northwest and additional Route 4 stops to the northeast.
As far as rail access, those wishing to board the Green Line will find two equidistant stations: King Drive station via a six-minute walk southwest and Cottage Grove station via a six-minute walk southeast. Those looking to board the Metra will find the 63rd Street station via a 23-minute walk east.
Ro, Inc is the general contractor for the $380,000 project. Further details regarding the anticipated completion timeline have not yet been announced.
