Optima Verdana Now Fully Complete in Downtown Wilmette

Optima, Inc. has completed the Optima Verdana rental complex in downtown Wilmette. The property, which opened its leasing office this past May, has achieved a 72% occupancy rate. Designed by David Hovey Sr. and David Hovey Jr., the new building offers 100 units, comprising one-, two-, and three-bedroom layouts, as well as penthouses. These units vary in size from 660 to 2,790 square feet, with monthly rents ranging between $3,000 and $12,000.

YIMBY recently had the opportunity to tour Optima Verdana, a new six-story mixed-use building located at 1210 Central Avenue in Wilmette, IL. A project by Optima, Inc., the development comprises 100 rental apartment units and more than 8,000 square feet of commercial space.

This week, YIMBY toured the newly opened Optima Lakeview apartments in Lakeview East. The seven-story mixed-use building, situated at 3460 N Broadway, replaces a former Treasure Island Foods grocery store and parking lot. The project was spearheaded by Optima, a design-driven real estate development firm based in Chicago. The developer has delivered numerous other projects in the city, including Streeterville’s Optima Signature and Optima Center, as well as in Arizona.

Construction has begun on Optima Lakeview, a mixed-use development at 3460 N Broadway in Lake View. Located on the corner of N Broadway and W Cornelia Avenue, the project will replace an old Treasure Island grocery store and parking lot. The nearest public transportation is the 36 CTA bus route, accessed at the Broadway and Cornelia stop, on the corner of the site. The Addison CTA station, serviced by the Red Line, is a ten-minute walk away. Optima Inc is the developer-architect in charge of the design and development of the building.
