This week, YIMBY toured the newly opened Optima Lakeview apartments in Lakeview East. The seven-story mixed-use building, situated at 3460 N Broadway, replaces a former Treasure Island Foods grocery store and parking lot. The project was spearheaded by Optima, a design-driven real estate development firm based in Chicago. The developer has delivered numerous other projects in the city, including Streeterville’s Optima Signature and Optima Center, as well as in Arizona.

Optima‘s seven-story mixed-use development known as Optima Lakeview has announced its grand opening. Residing at 3460 N Broadway on the former site of a Treasure Island Foods grocery store and parking lot, the development involves a 14,000-square-foot retail component and 198 apartment units on the upper floors. These rentals range from one- through three-bedroom layouts.

Zoning has been approved for a mixed-use development at 3440 N Broadway in Lakeview East. The property is located between W Cornelia Avenue and W Roscoe Street and originally occupied by a parking garage that was recently demolished. Optima’s Optima Lakeview development at 3460 N Broadway is directly adjacent to this project site to the north. Rebel Hospitality is the developer behind the proposal.

Located on the corner of N Broadway and W Cornelia Avenue, the project will replace an old Treasure Island grocery store and parking lot. The nearest public transportation is the 36 CTA bus route, accessed at the Broadway and Cornelia stop, on the corner of the site. The Addison CTA station, serviced by the Red Line, is a ten-minute walk away. Optima Inc is the developer-architect in charge of the design and development of the building.

Public transportation access includes the CTA Bus at the Broadway and Cornelia stop on the corner of the site, serviced by Route 36 and a 10-minute walk to the Addison CTA station, serviced by the Red Line. Optima Inc is the developer-architect in charge of the design and development of the project.
