Plan Commission Approves 357 Green In West Loop

The Chicago Plan Commission has approved the mixed-use development at 357 N Green Street in the West Loop. Bound by an elevated N Halsted Street to the east and a lower W Kinzie Street to the north, the proposed building merges the two heights with a cut-through plaza giving users access from both sides. The project is being led by Canadian-based Onni Group who is also behind Halsted Pointe on Goose Island, with architecture-firm SCB creating the design.

The Row Fulton Market Opens To Residents

The Row, Fulton Market, a new mixed-use skyscraper at 164 N Peoria Street, has now opened to its first residents. Standing at 495 feet, this 43-story structure is the second skyscraper in the West Loop area, following the skyscraper at 727 W Madison Street, built in 2018. Developed by Related Midwest, the project carries a price tag of approximately $200 million and includes 300 residential units, 20% of which are set as affordable housing. The building also houses a 146-vehicle garage, integrated into the podium.
