Work continues on the plaza surrounding The Bean at 201 E Randolph Street within Millennium Park. The famed sculpture located at the heart of the popular park has reigned as one of the most popular tourist attractions in the city for years. The work is being carried out by the city along with the Chicago Park District.

The project has a budget of $2.7 million.
Updated details have been revealed for the new DePaul University Sports Facility at 2300 N Sheffield Avenue in Lincoln Park. Sitting just north of the intersection with W Belden Avenue, the new building will replace a handful of older residential structures. The project is being led by the university itself with Antunovich Associates and HNTB.
