The new Guinness Open Gate Brewery Chicago, located at 375 North Morgan Street in Fulton Market, is now readying for a September 28 opening. This venue in Fulton Market signifies the brewer’s second venture in the US, following its inaugural location in Baltimore.
A renovation permit has been approved for an alteration located at 6620 N Newgard Avenue in Rogers Park. The upcoming project entails a second-floor front addition to an existing 2-flat residential building with a basement.
Glass and metal installation has begun at 1114 West Carroll Avenue, a 34-story mixed-use high rise in Fulton Market. Led by Trammell Crow Company, the building will include 368 residential units and ground-floor retail spaces. Amenities include a pool, fitness center, rooftop terrace, and deck, along with parking for 95 vehicles and 185 bicycles.
Plans have been revealed for the residential development at 1342 W Ohio Street in West Town. Located just east of the intersection with N Noble Street, the proposal would replace a vacant lot across the street from Rauner College Prep. Developer West Town Gamma Sub LLC is working with local-design firm BLDG PROJ who worked on similar projects across the city.
A construction permit has been issued for a residential development at 5071 N Northwest Highway in the Jefferson Park neighborhood. Owned by 5069 N Northwest Highway, LLC, the project will include a three-story building with a basement, providing fourteen new dwelling units. The building will replace an existing structure.
