The City of Chicago has issued permits for a new development at 3225 South Halsted Street in Bridgeport. The three-story mixed-use building, which has a budget of $600,000, is being spearheaded by owner Min Yu. When complete, it will offer two residential units above a ground-floor retail space.
Designed by architect Edward Yung, the building’s structure will be primarily masonry. Complete Development Group LLC will manage the project’s progress as the general contractor. Lolo Construction Inc will lay the building’s foundation and structure.
When complete, 3225 South Halsted Street will be located steps from stops for the 8 bus line. Beyond that, the Halsted CTA Station, which services the Orange Line, will be a 19 minute walk to the north of the property, and the Sox-35th CTA Station, which services the Red Line, will be a 22 minute walk to the east of the property.
