Embry, a 16-story condominium tower situated in the West Loop at 21 N May Street, is nearing the completion of its facade work. Sulo Development is behind the new residential high-rise, which will accommodate 58 residential spaces with sizes varying from 1,828 to 5,200 square feet. The design includes two-, three-, and four-bedroom unit configurations.

Located on the intersection with N Halsted Street and replacing a massive Chicago Tribune facility, the proposal is the second attempt to develop the site across the street from the upcoming casino. This attempt is being led by Canadian-based developer Onni Group who tapped Goettsch Partners for its design.
Following a preliminary foundation and basement permit this past June, a full construction permit has been granted for a commercial building at 1323 S Ashland Avenue in Little Italy. The new structure will come with retail, offices, and a rooftop deck, spanning a total of 48,000 square feet. The project is currently under the development by 4S Bay Partners and was formerly the site of the St. Stephenson Missionary Baptist Church. The office units will cater predominantly to community service entities and nonprofit institutions.
Plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 3955 N Kilpatrick Avenue in Old Irving Park. Located on the southeast corner with W Irving Park Road, the project will replace a massive vacant lot currently used as a parking lot near the Metra tracks. Developer GW Properties is working with local firm Pappageorge Haymes on the multi-building project which is an update from an earlier plan.
Finalizing construction at 6 N Carpenter Street in the West Loop neighborhood, Madison + Carpenter is a six-story residential condominium development. ZSD Corp is developing the project, consisting of 13 residential units for residential and other flexible uses.
