Less than 10 months after receiving their first permit to start foundation work, Skender and their concrete contractor Adjustable Concrete have reached as high as they’ll go.

Located on the northwest corner with W Wrightwood Avenue, the project would replace a stretch of one-story commercial buildings. Additional Funding Approved For Double Door Relocation In Uptown

Additional funding has been approved by the Community Development Commission for the relocation of Double Door music venue at 1050 W Wilson Avenue in Uptown. Situated just east of the intersection with N Broadway, the establishment is relocating from its long-term home in Wicker Park. Efforts are being led by the club with local architecture firm Barker Nestor working on its design.
