Ronan Construction has received the first of two permits for new residential buildings on the 1400 block of West Roscoe Street in Lake View. Addressed as 1447 West Roscoe, the first permit was issued on May 30 following an application date of January 13 of this year. It comes with a reported construction cost of $825,000.

Plans have been revealed for the mixed-use redevelopment of 2701 North Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Located at the intersection with West Drummond Place, the proposal sits across the street from the Convent Hotel redevelopment and its rear expansion as well as the recently revised 2600 N Clark. Similar to that project, this plan will redevelop the existing Leon Hotel building.

Northshore Development Group applied for the permit on April 29 of this year, and it came through on June 23 with a reported construction cost of $1.485 million.

Located across the street from the upcoming Bally’s Casino, the proposal will redevelop the vacant Tribune plant along the riverfront. The project comes from Universal Destinations & Experiences, which operates theme parks around the world.

Caissons Permitted For First Tower At 410 North Elizabeth In Fulton Market

More than six months after the city issued its tower crane permit, 410 North Elizabeth now has a permission to begin drilling caissons. The first of two residential tower planned by Weldon Development Group for the Fulton Market site, this one will rise 33 stories and contain 384 dwelling units. The permit was issued on June 26.
