Chicago Bears Reveal Plans For New Lakefront Stadium

Initial details have been revealed for the massive redevelopment of Museum Campus for the new Chicago Bears stadium near downtown. The new structure will replace the existing parking deck to the south of Soldier Field, with the plans being revealed the day before the NFL draft. The proposal is being led by the team itself along with the City of Chicago, with Kansas City-based Manica Architecture working on its design.

Chicago Bears Purchase Arlington Heights Land

The Chicago Bears have announced the purchase of the land needed for their potential move to 2200 Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights. Located on the nexus of Highways 14 and 53 roughly 28 miles northwest of their current home of Soldier Field, the team is nearing the end of a multi-year negotiation on where to call home with the City of Chicago and the state. The mixed-use megaproject is being led by the team itself and their president along with San Francisco based design-firm Hart Howerton.

Bears Reveal Initial Masterplan For Potential Arlington Heights Complex

Initial details have been revealed for the potential sports and entertainment complex for the Chicago Bears at 2200 Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights. Located just south of the intersection of Highway 14 and 53, the proposal will replace the now-closed Arlington International Racecourse if the team chooses to pursue its departure from Soldier Field downtown. The Bears and their soon retiring president Ted Phillips are working with San Francisco-based architects Hart Howerton on the conceptual masterplan.
