Renderings have been revealed for a proposed office development at 917 W Fulton Market in Fulton Market. Located on a rectangular site, the new building will span from W Fulton Market to S Lake Street along N Sangamon Street. The project scope also includes an existing warehouse building at 900 W Lake Street. Fulton Street Companies is the developer behind the proposal.
Demolition is nearing completion for a planned nine-story mixed-use building located at 4601 N Broadway in Uptown. John Buck Company and Free Market Ventures are co-planning the project, which will include 12,000 square feet of ground-level retail, 200 apartments, and resident amenity spaces including a rooftop deck.
Permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 924 N Wood Street in West Town’s East Village neighborhood. Filed under 924 N Wood Corp, the owner plans three total units, a basement, a four-story rear metal porch, an open terrace on the first floor, and a rooftop deck and enclosure.
Structural work has reached the second setback for 320 S Canal Street, aka BMO Tower, a 50-story office skyscraper located in West Loop Gate. Planned by Riverside Investment & Development and Convexity Properties, the 727-foot-tall tower will establish a prominent new peak in downtown’s southwest corner. The development will support 1.5 million square feet of Class A office space, along with features such as floor-to-ceiling windows, finished ceiling heights reaching up to 12 feet, and private terraces on select floors.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved amendments to The Fields Development located at 4000 W Diversey Avenue in Belmont Gardens. Mainly the site of the historic Marshall Fields Warehouse, the development is part of a multi-building complex. The overall site is bound by W George Street to the north, N Pulaski Road to the east, W Diversey Avenue to the south, and rail lines to the west. Knickpoint Ventures is the developer behind the project.
