Permits have been issued for a two-story residential building at 4047 S Prairie Avenue in Bronzeville. The owner of the currently vacant lot, filed under St 98 Holdings LLC, has planned two residential units, with an additional basement, rear wood deck and stairs, and a detached two-car garage.
Renderings have been revealed for The Reed, the second residential tower at Southbank, as the entire development takes the 11th spot in YIMBY’s Chicago’s tallest developments countdown. Located on a 7.5-acre, waterfront site, Southbank is a megadevelopment that was split off from the original Riverline joint venture development by Lendlease and CMK Companies. The parcel is bound by W Harrison Street, S Wells Street, W Polk Street, and the Chicago River.
Work has risen above grade for a five-story condominium building at 15 N Elizabeth Street in West Loop.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 2820 W Lyndale Street, located in Palmer Square. Currently, a single-story frame building occupies the site. However the narrow plot size and surrounding vacant lots may indicate that the development will involve multiple parcels.
