Structural work is now at the second floor for a new four-story mixed-use development at 2317 N Clark Street in Lincoln Park. 2300 N Clark LLC has been listed as the owner according to construction permits approved this past February and May.
A permit was approved on Friday for a new three-story residential building to be located at 4107 S Prairie Avenue in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. The owner is listed as James Nahon and plans indicate this project will yield three total units, each with a rear open porch. Additionally, the permits include a detached three-car garage. The development will replace a vacant lot.
With windows now in place, face brick installation has begun for Newcastle Limited’s 12-story development known as Gild, located at 1210 N State Parkway. Nodding to the surrounding Gold Coast neighborhood, the mixed-use project will contain 18,000 square feet of ground-level retail, along with 89 apartments situated on the upper 11 floors.
Updated renderings have been revealed for an ongoing redevelopment of an existing mixed-use building located at 1601 Sherman Avenue in Evanston. Dubbed the Fountain Square Building, the wedge-shaped, art moderne-style structure sits north of a small fountain plaza bound by Sherman Avenue, Davis Street, and Orrington Avenue in the heart of downtown Evanston.
A demolition permit has been issued for a two-story, masonry residence along with a detached garage in the Logan Square neighborhood. The permit’s owner has been listed as the MF Group LLC. As of now, no plans appear to have been submitted to upgrade any of the zoning designations for this property and there is currently no information on any future constructions.
