A permit was approved on Friday for a new three-story residential building at 4157 South Prairie Avenue in the Grand Boulevard neighborhood. The owner is listed as James Nahon and plans indicate this project will yield three dwelling units and a detached three-car garage. The development will replace a vacant lot.

Gary Wands is listed as the architect of record. While there aren’t any further details available at this time, the permit does indicate the presence of masonry contractors.

Transportation is readily available with the nearest bus service available for Route 3 at the King Drive & 41st Street stop via a six-minute walk east. The CTA Green Line can also be accessed at the 43rd Street station via a four-minute walk south. There are many retail, dining, and lodging options in the vicinity, many of which are located within walking distance.

Allbright Construction LLC will act as the general contractor for the $450,000 construction. A full timeline and an anticipated completion date have not yet been revealed.
