Contemporary Concepts has submitted a zoning application for a proposed residential development at 1055 W Diversey. The project site, currently housing a church. The new development, designed by Studio Dwell Architects, is planned to be a five-story building with 24 residential units, standing 58 feet tall. The exterior will feature a brick cladding with metal accent panels and limestone on the ground floor windows.
An opening date and additional renderings have been revealed for the new music venue at 1675 N Elston Avenue in West Town. Dubbed ‘The Outset’, the new venue redeveloped an existing industrial building on the site. The space is being developed by Auris Presents who also operates famed venues Concord Music Hall and RADIUS.

The permit, granted to MMNT Development LLC and designed by Helen Liptak, allows for the erection of the building with a basement, first-floor rear deck, third-floor private roof deck, and a detached two-vehicle garage with a roof deck.
