Knight Investments LLC has been granted a permit for the construction of a new three-story, three-unit residential building at 2924 West Fillmore Street in Douglass Park. The permit, issued on August 20, comes after a 67-day standard plan review process that began with the application submission on June 14.
The new building will feature a front stair, rear porch, and a three-car parking pad in the rear, as per the approved plans. The permit fees for this project total $6,253.00, with $4,300.00 paid for building fees, $75.00 for zoning fees, and $1,878.00 in other fees. The reported cost of construction is estimated at $350,000.00.
Peter Sterniuk is the designer for the project. When complete, the property will be a short walk from CTA Stations servicing the Blue Line.
