Sitting near the intersection with N Halsted Street, it is across the street from the local Chicago Police Department station which is currently housing a large number of migrants. The project is being led by the Lakeview Lutheran Church and the Over The Rainbow Association, with architecture firm Weese Langley Weese working on its design.

A new major lounge has been revealed for the new Terminal 5 expansion at O’Hare International Airport. The lounge will be for LOT Polish Airlines, the national carrier of Poland who flies multiple times a day to Chicago. The space will bring additional amenities to the terminal and is being designed by an undisclosed local-architecture firm according to the airline’s press release.

Revised plans have been revealed for mixed-use development at 3327 N Lincoln Avenue in Lake View. Sitting on a wedge-shaped lot with N Marshfield Avenue running along the rear, the new building will replace a handful of existing structures including the home of Dinkel’s Bakery. Developer PCR Group has been working with Jonathan Splitt Architects on the design while pursuing a rezoning of the site.

A new major lease has been announced for Fulton Labs at 400 N Aberdeen Street in Fulton Market. Sitting on the corner with N Ogden Avenue on the northern end of the neighborhood, the space will be utilized by the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) as part of a greater life sciences push in the city. The university itself is leading the efforts for their first off-campus research venture, designed by Perkins & Will.
