Initial details have been revealed for the nation’s deepest diving pool at an undisclosed location in Lake County. Located around 35-40 miles north of The Loop in the nearby suburbs, the multi-pool facility recently began fundraising as design work continues. The team at nonprofit Diveheart is behind the development with local architecture firm Barker Barrios working on the design.

Permits Issued For Lourdes School Redevelopment In Uptown

Permits have been issued for the residential conversion of the Our Lady Lourdes School at 4641 N Ashland Avenue in Uptown. We initially covered plans for this late last year as the project became the second to be proposed at the church, sitting near the intersection with W Leland Avenue. The development is being led by Honore Properties with architecture firm Kennedy Mann working on its design.

Ramova Theater Redevelopment Completed With Opening Concert

An official opening has occurred for the redevelopment of the Ramova Theater at 3518 S Halsted Street in Bridgeport. Located near the intersection with 35th Street, the iconic theater’s interior and exterior have been under construction for nearly two years after new renderings were revealed last year. The $30 million project was led by Baum Revision with a collection of locals and celebrities as well.
