Located on the northern half of the site, the stadium will create a permanent home for the team, which relocated to Soldier Field from Bridgeview in recent years. Efforts for the mixed-use development are being led by the team’s owner, Joe Mansueto, and Related Midwest.
Updated details have been revealed for the hotel development at 150 W Hubbard Street in River North. Located at the corner of West Hubbard Street and North LaSalle Drive, the project has undergone multiple iterations over the years, with various hotel flags previously attached. Most recently, YIMBY reported when Detroit-based developer Porritt Group applied for initial construction permits a year ago.
Plans are moving forward for a new convention center complex within the existing grounds of the Hard Rock Casino in Gary, Indiana. Located at 5400 W 29th Avenue, the Lake County Board of Commissioners selected their winning bid earlier this month, defeating a competing proposal from the city of Hobart, located further east.

Construction has begun on the redevelopment of the former Tyson Foods building at 400 S Jefferson Street in West Loop Gate. Located at the corner of W. Van Buren Street and bounded by Interstate 290 to the south, the former industrial building was purchased by The Chicago School late last year to serve as its new consolidated campus.
