Located just south of the intersection with W Greenleaf Avenue, the site sits near Loyola Park and just north of the university itself. A final landmark recommendation has been issued for the Apollo’s 2000 theater at 2875 W Cermak Road in Little Village. Located just west of the intersection with S Marshall Boulevard and the city’s Grand Boulevard, the recommendation was officially made by the Commission on Chicago Landmarks. Now the historic theater’s official landmark designation will now depend on approval from city council.

The project is being led by Shapack Partners, CRG, and KMW Communities and received city approvals in 2022.
