Located just east of the intersection with N Broadway, the famed nightclub will be finally relocating from its previous Wicker Park location. Tower Crane Permit Issued for 400 N Lake Shore Drive As Financing Is Secured

Financing has been secured and the tower crane permit has now been issued for the first phase of 400 N Lake Shore Drive in Streeterville. The project was originally revealed in 2018 and has seen multiple revisions prior to now, with the new tower replacing the long-term vacant site and hole left behind by the Chicago Spire. The two-phase development is being led by Related Midwest with architecture-firm SOM working on its design.

Update: Bally’s Revises Plans For Permanent Casino Without Hotel Tower

Revised plans have been revealed for the upcoming Bally’s casino at 777 W Chicago Avenue in River West. Located on the corner with N Halsted Street and replacing the Chicago Tribune printing facility, developer Bally’s has begun the bidding and permit process with revised plans for the complex. The property is being designed by SCB, Gensler, Site Design Group, Urbanworks, STL Architects, and NIA Architects among others.

Updated Details Revealed For Residential Tower At 420 N May Street In West Loop

Updated plans have been disclosed for the mixed-use development at 420 N May Street in the West Loop. Crescent Heights, a Miami-based developer and the same team responsible for NEMA in the South Loop, has submitted the project for the upcoming Plan Commission meeting. The HPA-designed project is set to replace a cluster of small buildings on the corner with W Kinzie Street.
