Work is wrapping up for Onni Group‘s Old Town Park Phase Three, a 41-story mixed-use tower located at 228 W Hill Street in Near North Side. The nearly complete development marks the final installation of a masterplan comprised of an additional 31- and 40-story tower, as well as the renovation of the existing nine-story Atrium Village Complex.
Construction permits have been issued for a new four-story residential building at 1638 N Sedgwick Street in Old Town. Greif Properties, Inc. is the developer behind the project, whose plans comprise of three condominium units, a rooftop deck, a basement, a three-story rear steel staircase, and a concrete parking pad with three spaces.
Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story frame residence located at 825 W Buckingham Place in Lakeview East. The owner is listed under V&M Development, whose plans for the site comprise of a new four-story masonry building. This multi-unit residence will comprise of three total units, a basement, a rooftop deck, two dog houses, and a three-car garage.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 3536 N Lowell Avenue in Kilbourn Park. Rafael Szymanski is the filing owner, whose plans include multiple rooftop decks and stair enclosures, a basement, and a detached six-car garage. The new structure will occupy the site of a masonry two-flat and detached garage. The owner also received approval from the City in September 2019, to convert the property from a designation of RS-3 Residential Single-Unit District to RM-4.5, Residential Multi-Unit District.
