Initial details have been revealed for the residential development at 2350 N Seeley Avenue on the northeastern edge of Bucktown. Located just south of the intersection with W Fullerton Avenue, the project will be replacing an industrial structure already surrounded by residential use. Developer Wilmot Properties is leading the efforts for the new project.
Plans have been approved for the mixed-use redevelopment of the three-building complex spanning from 900 to 910 W Fulton Market. Located on the northwest corner with N Peoria Street, the buildings are bound by Time Out Market and the future renovation of 310 N Peoria Street. This redevelopment is being led by Midwest Property Group and has been in development for a few years.
Updated details and renderings have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 1840 N Marcey Street in Lincoln Park. Sitting just east of the future home of Lincoln Yards, the lot is currently occupied by a commercial building bound by curved railroad tracks to the south. Similar to Lincoln Yards, this project is also being led by developer Sterling Bay.
The Chicago Community Development Commission has approved initial financing for the rest of the LaSalle Street Reimagined projects moving forward. Earlier this week we covered the first two approved projects, and today we will cover the last two. Those include the proposals at 208 S LaSalle Street and 111 W Monroe Street all within The Loop.
An official grand opening has been held for the residential tower at 1000 S Michigan in the South Loop known as 1000M. Sitting along the famed avenue and across the street from Grant Park, the tower replaced a vacant lot and cantilevers over its shorter neighbor. Efforts on the skyscraper were led by Time Equities, Inc., JK Equities, and Oak Capitals, who were all in attendance at the ceremony.
