Final facade work is progressing at Near South Side‘s 2401 S State Street, where developer City Pads has planned a four-story residential building. Set to accommodate 19 residences, the project will also incorporate ten on-site parking spaces and 33 bike slots. The current construction is replacing a formerly vacant concrete lot.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-floor residential building at 2125 W 19th Street in Heart of Chicago. Owned by Carlos Martinez, the new development will include two dwellings, as well as a two-car detached garage. The new structure will replace a currently vacant lot.

Previously reported as 4179 W Belmont Avenue, the new development is being planned by Noah Properties. Plans include a total of 17 dwelling units, ranging from two-to three-bedroom residences. Plans will include landscape improvements, a basement, a rear courtyard, 11 indoor parking spaces, and six surface-level spaces. Residents will also have access to on-site bike parking.
Facade work is approaching completion at Southbridge Phase I, which comprises of two six-story buildings located at 2310 S State Street and 2344 S State Street in Chicago’s Near South Side. Developed by McCaffrey and The Community Builders, each building will offer ground-level retail and 103 mixed-income apartments on the upper floors. Amenities will comprise of a fitness center, a community dining space, and multiple outdoor terraces with city views. Parking will also offer surface-level spaces located in the rear.

Wilmot Construction Inc. is the owner, whose plans involve a four-story mixed-use building with 2,100 square feet of ground-level retail and nine dwellings on the three upper floors. Residences will range from two- to three-bedrooms units, each of which will come with a balcony. Plans also include a rooftop deck and nine parking spaces integrated on the ground floor.
