The Chicago City Council has fully approved a mixed-use development for Westhaven Park Phase IID in Near West Side. Located at 1959 W Lake Street, the project site fronts N Damen Avenue spanning from W Lake Street to W Maypole Avenue. The property is located adjacent to the CTA Green Line tracks where a new Damen station is expected. Brinshore Development and The Michaels Organization are the developers behind the proposal.
Facade work is well underway for a six-story mixed-use building at 2755 N Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square. Under development by R.P. Fox & Associates, the new building will offer four ground-level retail units and 60 apartments on the second through sixth floors. Previously, the site was occupied by a single-story bakery and surrounding parking lot.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential project located at 623 E 60th Street in West Woodlawn. JPK Investments, LLC is the filing owner, whose plans comprise of six total dwellings and a six-car detached garage. Other features will include a trash enclosure and a pair of wood and iron fences. The new development will replace a vacant grass parcel.

Walton Street Builders is the listed owner, with plans for eight total units as well as a detached masonry garage for four vehicles. The development will replace a currently vacant grass lot.

The developer 2820 Lyndale Real Estate LLC has planned seven residential units and seven open-air parking spaces. Other building features include a rooftop penthouse enclosure and deck, terraces on the first and second floors on the south side, and terraces along all three floors on the east side. The project is set to replace two frame single-family residences and a surrounding vacant area.
