A new rendering has been revealed for a planned development at 4645 N Clark Street in Sheridan Park. Comprised of two lots, the project site is located midblock along N Clark Street between W Wilson Avenue and W Leland Avenue.
Construction permits have been issued for a two-story residential building with a total of six connected duplex townhomes. Situated at 3324-3334 S Prairie Avenue in Douglas, the owner Thomas Boney has planned various features such as a basement level, a front porch and rear wood deck for each unit, and three four-car detached garages for a total of 12 parking spaces. The construction will replace a formerly vacant grass and tree-lined lot.
Construction permits have been filed for a new residential building situated at 2821 W Lyndale Street in Logan Square. Developed by Urban Edge Group LLC, the three-story development will house two total units, and will be topped by a rooftop deck and stair enclosure. There will also be rear decks along the first and second floors, as well as rear stairs from the first to third floors. As for parking, there will be a detached two-car garage with its own rooftop deck. The construction is set to replace a two-story frame residence.
Structural work has passed the eighth floor for The Gateway Apartments, an 11-story residential building rising at 2050 W Ogden Avenue in the Illinois Medical District. With 161 total units, the planned rental units range in size from studios up through two-bedrooms. Resident amenities comprise of a rooftop pool and lounge, indoor lounge areas, a fitness room, a game area, a business center, and bike storage.
Construction permits have been issued for a four-story mixed-use building at North Center‘s 2024 W Irving Park Road. With Sewickly LLC as the owner and developer, the new construction entails a combination of ground-floor retail and 12 condominium units on the upper floors. The project received zoning approval late last year, in which the Zoning Board of Appeals permitted a reduction of the rear setback from 30 feet to 18 feet.
