Located along N Ashland Avenue, the site is bordered by alleyways to the south and east. A one-story restaurant building currently occupies the site, for sale by the owner. Mavrek Development is the developer behind the proposal.
Construction permits have been issued for two adjacent residential buildings located at 1438-40 N Fairfield Avenue in West Town. Developed by 1437 North California LLC, the pair of two-story structures will each house two units for a total of four dwellings. The buildings will also each include a basement, a rooftop deck, and a three-car parking pad.
Exterior work is wrapping up for two adjacent residential buildings located at 1143-45 W Addison Street in Lake View. The owner and developer 1143 Addison LLC has planned for three units within each of the three-story buildings for a total of six units. Additional features for each building include a basement, a rooftop deck, a rooftop stair enclosure, and a detached three-car garage.
The proposed zoning has been approved for a six-story mixed-use development at 835 W Addison Street in Lakeview East. Located at the intersection of W Addison Street and N Reta Avenue, the new project will replace the existing Lakeview Lutheran Church. The church is collaborating with Over the Rainbow Association to execute the project.

Owned and developed by Leonardo Nieto, the building will house four total dwellings, as well as a rooftop enclosure, a basement, a four-story rear porch, and a four-car parking pad. Currently, the site is occupied by two frame residences and a taller multi-level masonry building in the rear. It is unclear if all the structures will be cleared for the new residence.
