A local developer received five new construction permits over the course of two days to erect single-family residences in the 3000 block of North Oakley Avenue at the south end of the North Center Community Area. As the entity of Oakley Collection LLC, G Corp got permits on September 14 and 15 for lots spanning 3000 through 3010 North Oakley. Application start dates begin on June 30 and end on July 22; all five permits include reported costs of $721, 350 for each home.

A nine-unit building has been permitted by the City of Chicago for 2053 West Irving Park Road in North Center. Using the entity of Irving Flats LLC, which may or may not offer a hint as to the name of the new project, Mangan Builders is the site’s developer and general contractor. Approved on September 9 with a reported cost of $1.275 million, the permit had been in the Chicago Data Portal for 428 days since its application start date of July 8. 2025.
