Demo Permits Issued for 4447 N Hazel Street in Uptown

Demolition permits have now been issued for a three-story masonry church at 4447 N Hazel Street in Uptown, clearing the way for a five-story residential development. Longford Construction, the developer of the project, has planned 32 total residences, ranging from studios up to two-bedroom units. Of the units, three will be affordable under the Affordable Requirement Ordinance. The development will also include 16 parking spaces in an integrated garage, as well as 32 bike spaces.

A Final Look at the Completed Peoria Green in West Loop

Construction is now complete for ZSD Corp‘s residential condominium development known as Peoria Green in West Loop. The six-story structure sits on an asymmetrically-shaped plot, and comprises of two separate wings. The east wing, addressed as 128 S Green Street, houses a total of 12 four-bedroom units, while the west wing at 123 S Peoria Street houses five larger five-bedroom units.

Permits Issued for 1526 N Wieland Street in Old Town

Construction permits have been issued for a new four-story residential development at Old Town‘s 1526 N Wieland Street. The filing owner, listed under Development Group, LLC – Old Town Branch, has planned eight integrated units, an elevator, a rooftop deck with a stair/elevator enclosure, a front balcony on the first floor, a rear balcony on the second and third floors, and an eight-car garage with a partial rooftop deck.

Facade Work Now Underway at 15 N Elizabeth Street in West Loop

Cladding has begun for a five-story condominium building known at 15 N Elizabeth Street in West Loop. The joint venture known as 15 N Elizabeth LLC, comprised of Ranquist Development Group, Jodi Development, and Campbell Coyle, has planned seven total residences ranging from two-bedroom to five-bedroom units. The smaller layouts begin just under $800,000, while the larger four- and five-bedroom penthouses have been listed at just under $2 million.

Permits Issued for 6227 S St. Lawrence Avenue in West Woodlawn

Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building at 6227 S St Lawrence Avenue in West Woodlawn. Filed under the owner Damarcus Allen, the new development will feature three total units and three parking spaces in the rear. The new development will replace a formerly empty lot.

354 N Union Avenue Begins 32-Story Ascent in Fulton River District

Concrete and steel construction has begun to rise at Fulton River District‘s 354 N Union Avenue, where Onni Development Group has planned a 32-story residential tower. Set to include 373 rental units, the tower’s offerings will mainly consist of studios, one-bedrooms, and two-bedrooms. However, planning documents show that the penthouse units will vary between two- and three-bedroom residences.

Moceri + Roszak Debuts Penthouse Collection Apartments at Parkline Chicago in The Loop

Moceri + Roszak has unveiled 24 new apartments on the upper floors of Parkline Chicago, a recently-completed 26-story mixed-use building in The Loop. Located at 60 E Randolph Street, Parkline Chicago also offers an additional 189 apartment units on the lower floors, as well as 6,400 square feet of ground-level retail.

Final Facade Work Underway at 2633 N Emmett Street in Logan Square

Final siding work has kicked off for DG Advisors Group’s 2633 N Emmett Street, a three-story residential building situated in Logan Square. With four total units, the development comes with a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, front and rear decks on the first and second floors, and a detached four-car garage with its own rooftop deck. This new structure has replaced a two-story frame residence and detached garage, which received demolition permits this past April.

Facade Wraps Up for Emmett Street Apartments at 2602-38 N Emmett Street in Logan Square

Exterior work is approaching completion for the seven-story Emmett Street Apartments at 2602-38 N Emmett Street in Logan Square. Previously occupied by a parking lot, the nearly one-acre parcel is bordered by N Emmett Street, N Kedzie Avenue, the CTA L Blue Line at Logan Square station, a rear alley, and four-story residential building.
