The Commission on Chicago Landmarks has granted approval for the demolition of the existing buildings located at 4601-11 N Broadway and 4613-17 N Broadway, paving the way for a new development at 4601 N Broadway. Located on a corner site at the intersection of N Broadway and W Wilson Avenue, the project is a transit-oriented development sitting across the street from the newly renovated Wilson CTA L station, serviced by the Red Line.
Permits were recently issued for 2622 N Racine Avenue, a three-story residential building in Wrightwood Neighbors. The development by Eirpol LLC will replace a two-story single family residence.
Foundation work is progressing at 1400 Monroe, located at 1400 W Monroe Street in the West Loop neighborhood. Photos of the site from this week show concrete pouring for the partially-completed foundation, as well as additional on-site equipment. JK Equities is developing the seven-story residential development with 42 condominium units.
