With construction now wrapping up, move-ins for select units have kicked off at the 11-story residential building known as Evo Union Park, located at 1454 W Randolph Street in West Loop. Developer Marquette Companies has delivered 242 total apartment units, whose layout sizes range from convertibles up through two-bedroom residences.
Each apartment features floor-to-ceiling windows, wood plank flooring, exposed concrete finishes, quartz countertops, ceramic backsplashes, stainless steel GE appliances, soft-close cabinetry, walk-in showers, and a latch keyless entry system. Most units also offer attached private balconies.
The amenity package offers residents a large second-level pool deck with cabanas, a fully-equipped fitness center, as well as a rooftop courtyard with skyline views, grilling stations, and a fire pit. Other amenities include a co-working lounge with both private and collaborative spaces, a large open lobby, and a dog run and spa. There is also an integrated parking garage with room for 87 vehicles and 48 bikes.
With Brininstool + Lynch as the project architect, Evo Union Park is made up of two connected rectangular volumes atop a trapezoidal-shaped podium. This massing is wrapped in a brick, metal, and glass exterior, which is further textured by columns of recessed balconies on all sides.
Closest bus transit consists of Routes 9 and X9 via a three-minute walk west to Ashland & Lake. Next to this intersection is access to the Ashland CTA L station, which is serviced by both the Green and Pink Lines.
Evo Union Park has been built in tandem with a 26-story residential high rise known as Parq Fulton. This taller sibling project by Marquette resides just to the east across Ogden Avenue, and is currently in its end stages of construction. Combined, these two developments are set to offer a total of 500 new dwellings, while producing 100 affordable units. It is worth noting that some of these affordable units are housed in Atrio, a recently renovated apartment building that’s further southwest along Ogden.
Having cost $64 million, Power Construction served as the general contractor. Once Parq Fulton completes early this year, Marquette will continue to have a construction presence in the area, with the rapidly progressing 513 S Damen Avenue to the southwest, and the yet-to-begin 140 N Ashland Avenue just to the west.

I wonder how loud the train is the apartments closest to the track.
Another great design from Brininstool & Lynch.
Love it. Let’s make Union Park surrounded by mid to high rises all on sides with retail below and make this a real gem. It could be like Bryant Park in NYC especially near the Green and Pink lines. Continue the westward march!
@Matt, The units adjacent to the train tracks have supplemental sound proofing measures and acoustic rated windows
