Permits have been issued for a two-story residential building at 1657 N Mayfield Avenue in the North Austin sub-neighborhood of Austin. The owner, listed under GT Alternatives LLC, is planning two units for the building, as well as front stairs, a rear porch, and a detached two-car garage.
Two permits were recently issued for the adjacent 3134 and 3136 S Shields Avenue in South Side’s Armour Square district, with filing descriptions each listing a three-story residential building.

Demolition permits were issued last week to clear a two-story residential building at 1357 N Dean Street in Wicker Park. The structure was not subject to emergency removal, but had experienced a fire with no resulting injuries late last year, according to a tweet by Chicago Fire Media.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a new four-story mixed-use development at 2317 N Clark Street in Lincoln Park. Located on an interior lot, the project will sit between W Fullerton Parkway and W Belden Avenue. The CTA 22 and 36 Routes can be accessed at the Clark and Belden bus stop, within steps of the site. The Fullerton CTA L station, serviced by the Red, Purple, and Brown Lines, is accessible via a 15-minute walk. 2300 Clark Development LLC is in charge of the development of the project.
