Site prep has begun for a new multi-family residential development at 453 West Briar Place in Lake View. The five-story, six-unit condominium project is being built by Chicago’s GVP Development. They got a new construction permit back on May 21 for the property. A new permit was issued on Monday of this week for the construction of a four-story multi-unit located at 453 W Briar Place in the Lake View neighborhood. YIMBY previously reported on demolition at this site in December 2021. The permit’s owners have been listed as Briar Street 453 LLC and plans indicate three total units in the new construction along with an attached garage.
