Construction permits have been issued for a new residential development in the South Austin neighborhood. Under the owner name Keon Medlock, the development will be located at 162 N La Crosse Avenue, formerly the site of a vacant lot.
This three-unit apartment building is designed by architect Carlton Foellmer. The building will feature a 3-flat with rear porch, as per plans. There will be parking available on site.
Residents will have access to nearby transit options, including bus routes 54 and 392. Meanwhile, the nearest CTA L line is the Green Line at the Cicero Station within a five-minute walk north.
The project will be built by general contractor Medlock Construction Inc and is expected to cost $250,000. A final completion date has not yet been announced.
