Demolition permits have been issued for a two-story frame residential building and a detached frame garage. Located near the eastern end of West Town, the multi-unit structure is owned by Sustainabuild LLC.
A construction permit been issued for a three-story residential building at 2611 W Gladys Avenue, set to rise in Near West Side. The owner, filed under Brandon T. Styza of Styza Tectonic LLC, is planning two dwellings for the building, as well as a rear concrete slab and fence for parking. The project is just one of numerous other residential construction permits recently issued for the area encapsulating East Garfield Park and Near West Side’s United Center Park neighborhood.
Construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at 219 S Hamilton Avenue, located in Near West Side just west of United Center. The owner behind the filing, Hamilton 213 LLC, is planning eight total units, a rooftop deck and enclosure, as well as rear porches. The structure will also have parking for two vehicles at the basement level, along with two street-level garages housing an additional six cars. These garages will also have their own rooftop decks.
Work for the four-story residential building at 957 W Grace Street has topped out in Lake View. Officially addressed in permits as 3763 N Sheffield Avenue and developed by MCZ Development, the project is set to bring 50 total units to the area.

Sustainabuild LLC is the property owner behind the development, which will house nine total units just west of United Center. Atop the main building will also be a rooftop deck with an accompanying enclosure. Additional features include an attached three-car garage with its own rooftop deck space above, rear porch/balcony space, and front terrace space.
