Since Chicago YIMBY’s coverage on the project last month, the tower crane has been installed for Onni Development Group‘s 354 N Union Avenue, a 32-story high rise now underway in Fulton River District. Construction permits have been issued for a new two-story residential building located at 1330 W Cullerton Street in Pilsen. The owner Crisantos Granados plans for three total dwellings, a basement level, and a 355-square-foot private rooftop deck for the second floor unit. As far as parking, there will be three spaces on a concrete parking pad. The development will replace a two-story frame residence that is set back from the street.
The Chicago Plan Commission has approved a mixed-use development at 160 N Morgan Street in the West Loop. Slightly revised plans for the bKL Architecture-designed residential high-rise were presented by developer Sterling Bay as they continue to build up the former meat packing industrial area. Facing N Morgan street, the site which once held a drive-thru bank turned Gucci store pop-up, will give residents direct access to restaurant row, the CTA Green Line, and next door Federales bar.
