Updated plans have been revealed for the mixed-use development at 210–220 North Morgan Street in Fulton Market. Located mid-block between Lake Street and Fulton Street, the site appears to have changed hands from its previous developer, who received approval for their plans over three years ago.
Two months after its tower crane was extended for the third time, 400 Lake Shore got another boost in height, its fourth of what will be six jumps in total. Construction crews from LR Contracting, BOWA Construction, and Goebel Forming have also poured concrete for the 47th floor of the North Tower at 462 East North Water Street in Streeterville.
A pair of three-flats have been approved this month for adjacent lots at 3155 and 3157 West Monroe Street in East Garfield Park. Both were issued with reported costs of $480,000 for each permit, with 3155 coming through on September 11, and 3157 issued on September 18. Applications were filed for both on June 17.
A 20-unit residential building has been permitted for construction at 2245 West Monroe Street on the city’s Near West Side. YIMBY first learned about the proposal back in May, and on September 25, the permit was issued for the four-story building following its August 4 application. The permit, addressed as 2243 West Monroe, cites a reported cost of $4.985 million.
Steel is being erected for the four-story Tiny Giants Early Learning Center mixed-use project on the southwest corner of California and Montrose Avenues in the Horner Park neighborhood. Concrete cores are also popping up toward the north end of the construction site as work goes three-dimensional.
