Updated plans have been revealed for the mixed-use redevelopment of the Hollander Building at 2422 N Milwaukee Avenue in Logan Square. Sitting on the northwest corner of the intersection with W Fullerton Avenue in front of the CTA Blue Line Tracks, the project will replace a surface lot and existing one-story building as well as redevelop the historical property.
As pre-leasing continues, final touches are being made to the facade of 1000 S Michigan Avenue in the South Loop. This 74-story residential project, known as 1000M, stands at 805 feet and is located opposite Grant Park. The tower has been developed by Time Equities, JK Equities, and Oak Capital, with architectural design by Jahn/ and interior design by Kara Mann Design. There will be a total of 738 apartments, ranging from studios priced at $2,075 per month to four-bedroom penthouses starting at $14,470 per month.
Initial plans have been revealed for a potential mixed-use development at 345 N Aberdeen Street in the West Loop. The information comes as developer Sterling Bay submits a zoning application for the site, which currently holds the Cougle Commission factory. However the developer is selling the site, using the Gensler-designed project to rezone it as part of the sales package.
Construction has officially completed for Embry, a 16-story residential condominium development at 21 N May Street in West Loop. Developed by Sulo Development and designed by Lamar Johnson Collaborative (LJC), the building has yielded 58 condominium units, 80 percent of which have been pre-sold at the time of opening. The building offers a range of unit types including two-, three-, and four-bedroom configurations, duplexes, and two penthouses. The column-free interior layouts vary in size from 1,828 to 5,187 square feet, with prices ranging from $1.4 million to $7.5 million.
Initial details have been revealed for residential development at 3915 N Wayne Avenue in Lake View. Located near the intersection with N Clark Street and by the entrance to Graceland Cemetery, the project will replace a former Burger King and its parking lot that occupied the site. The project is being led by Wayne 531 LLC with local firm Axios Architects and Consultants working on its design.
