City Announces Winners Of Over $30 Million In Grants

The Chicago Department of Planning and Development and Mayor Brandon Johnson have announced winners of multiple grants for projects across the city. The first pool consists of $25 million in grants for commercial projects, a second pool of $5 million is to be distributed for climate-transit related projects, and $8 million in Adopt-A-Landmark grants.

1257 W Roosevelt Reaches Full Height in Little Italy

Having reached its full height of six stories, the ongoing construction at 1257 W Roosevelt Road in Little Italy represents a collaborative effort between Related Midwest and the Chicago Housing Authority (CHA). This residential project forms part of the larger Roosevelt Square Phase 3B development, which features a variety of housing options, retail spaces, and the soon-to-open National Museum of Public Housing. The Roosevelt Square masterplan aims to offer a total of 2,441 housing units, including both multifamily and single-family structures.
