Construction permits have been issued for a four-story residential building at Lincoln Park‘s 2215 N Halsted Street. The owner and developer, 2215 Halsted Glascott FLP, has planned eight total residences, along with a rooftop deck with pergolas.
Since Chicago YIMBY’s last update on Lendlease’s “The Reed,” a planned 41-story residential tower at 234 W Polk Street in South Loop, various new developments have taken place. Fencing and additional equipment, including a crane, are now on site, while staging areas and an access road have been built out.
Construction permits have been issued for a pair of connected three-story townhomes, located at 4304 N Kedvale Avenue in Old Irving Park. The building’s filing owner, 4300 Kedvale LLC, has planned a rooftop deck and stair enclosure, a side balcony along the second floor, and a two-car garage at the first floor.
Cladding and window installation are wrapping up for 1400 Monroe Street, a seven-story residential building in West Loop by JK Equities Prior to construction, the property housed a three-story masonry building. The replacement, known as 1400 Monroe, is set to yield a total of 42 condominiums ranging between two- and four-bedroom residences. Prices begin at $800,000 for a one-bedroom, $1 million for a two-bedroom, and $2.5 million for a four-bedroom. Layout sizes, meanwhile, will fall between 1,242 and 3,887 square feet.
