Foundation work is underway for a mixed-use retail and senior living project known as Clarendale Six Corners, filed under 4715 W Irving Park Road in Portage Park. This development will cover just over a quarter of a four-acre development project known as The Point at Six Corners.
Construction permits have been issued for a three-story residential building located at 2606 W Chicago Avenue in West Town. Owned by Gerard Coyle, the new development will house six total units, and come with an additional rooftop deck and a six-car garage with its own rooftop deck. The site is currently occupied by a larger single-story masonry building, though it is unclear how much of the property the new structure will occupy.
Despite no visible changes to the exterior, interior work continues to progress at 2145 S Halsted Street, a four-story mixed-use development in Pilsen. The infill site is located along S Halsted Street between W Cermak Road and W 21st Place. Vision Group Investments LLC is in charge of the development.
Construction permits have been issued for a four-story mixed-use building at 3729 W Belmont Avenue located in Avondale. The filing shows the owner as SCH Construction, LLC, who is planning commercial space on the ground floor and 18 apartments above. Until 2013 the empty lot was occupied by a two-story masonry building, which has since been demolished.
Structural work has completed with the outer walls now at full height for 1400 Monroe, a seven-story condominium building in West Loop. Officially located at 1404 W Monroe Street and developed by JK Equities, the development will incorporate 38 total units with 42 parking spaces and 22 bike spaces.
